| A Poem For The Depressed |
| Dear Heavenly Father, this poem is for everyone - but for those who suffer from depression for the most part. Having to deal with sad moods and being at a loss about what to do really hurts their wanting to love heart. They get up in the morning and feel beaten before they even get out of bed. Then many of them go one step farther and they pray they were dead. Father, all things are to work out for our best - that is what the Holy Bible has to say. But, the depressed can't see that in their lives every day. Romans 8:28 They want to be happy and get along with their life as others do. But, soon as the depressed enter that world they end up feeling out of place and blue. So, Heavenly Father, what words of blessings for the depressed may I write for only, only them? I'll write it in Jesus ' own words. "Here on this earth you will have many trials and sorrows, but take heart for I have overcome the world." Amen John 16:13 written 7/12/2000 |
