| You've Got Me! Lord |
| Dear Lord, You've got me and I'm not afraid anymore! I used to be shy and scared hiding behind my door. But the night I asked you to come into my life my world changed in a moment's time. In the blink of an eye I knew that I could go outside again and let my light shine. Now I'm talking to my neighbors and have made some new friends. I witnessed and told them about forgiveness from their sins. Dear Lord, You've got me beyond the shadow of a doubt. It was You, Lord, who came to me and then the Holy Spirit started cleaning me out. I shall go outside each day, Lord, and talk about You all I can. No longer timid I'm ready to do my best. This poem is for every woman and man. written 4/17/2006 |
