| Worship Only God |
| The first one of God's commandments is to worship only Him. We are to worship and love God first, if we do not - we automatically sin. Just think about how many other things in your life that you take care of each day. It's easy to see that God might not be number one in your life and then life is harder to live that way. We have our families and jobs and a hundred more committments that we have to take care of. Each one of us is tied to our everyday duties - but our first duty should be to God and His Love. If we do not put God first, before anything else, then we fail before we even get out of bed. Don't get me wrong - I didn't say to worship and love God first, those words God to Moses said. So, look at your situation - just what is at the center of your life? What are you foremost attached to? If it is not God - then open up your Bible to the book of Exodus chapter 20 and you will see that these words are all true. written 5/17/2000 |
