| We Are Forgetful |
| Dear Lord, I have time to write another poem and I thank You. You cause the sun to rise and set each day, yes, You do! Then the day gets started - please forgive me when I forget to pray. It's not that I'm too lazy - I just get running behind - it seems like every day. Forgive us Lord, we don't want to transgress but we do a lot. We are just humans and You know that we are a "forgetful lot". Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love - it is so precious and kind. I thank You, God, and I sure will try to keep You first in my heart, soul and mind. written 2/15/2008 |
