| Valentine's Day is Not Gone |
| I asked God what I should write about Valentine's Day to let Him know the depths of my love. I waited and waited for the inspiration to come from His great, majestic sanctuary up above. Days went by, but still no words came to me and I thought perhaps my inspiration was dried up and none would come! But then it came to me to write and write about our God's love and the love of his most Holy Son! The words flooded in - I could not write them fast enough but my memory was still good enough. I remembered the words that God gave me to share with you, my friends, His words were soothing - not rough. The message was to love everybody - no matter who they are as our Savior, Jesus, did so many years ago and even now! It takes a mountain of love to do that these days, but I was blessed by the Holy Spirit and He showed me how. So, get down on your knees and praise God that He should care about you or me or anyone else He happens to see. That is what I did - so this poem came and it is not easy to live life that way, but love conguers all - all glory to Thee! written 2/04/2004 |
