| The Lord is my light and my salvation so why should I ever be afraid of what I see or hear. The Lord protects me each day, so why should I tremble in fear. When Satan comes along to destroy and attack me, he will stumble and fall. For no one or no thing is greater than God - He is the one true God for us all. The one thing I ask of the Lord, the one thing I seek the very most is forgiveness of my sin. Then I can go live in the Lord's house forever and worship only Him. I will be content in the Lord's Sanctuary I will be safe and sound where no evil can get to me. So, teach me how to live O Lord, lead me along the path of truth, everlasting life and pure honesty. I am confident that I will see the goodness and majesty of the Lord while I'm living on this side of Heaven's Land. I will wait patiently for the Lord, I'll be brave and bold - then in God's time He will touch and take my spirit with His holy saving hand. written 9/19/2000 |
