| Three Nails, A Crown Of Thorns |
| Three nails, one crown of thorns and one spear wound on his side. One cross at Calvary is where our Savior gave up His Spirit--Jesus was crucified. His mother, brother and some friends who loved Jesus sat and stood and cried below. They were surrounded by many others who shed their tears also. The sky turned black, but is was only three o'clock in the afternoon that day. Then Jesus' body was let down and to the cold dark tomb He was carried away. Three nails, one crown of thorns, one spear wound on His side - Jesus was put in the tomb. Then Roman soldiers guarded the entrance blocked by a solid stone that sealed the room. Three days later, Oh! Our dear Jesus, praise God! That was not the end of His sacrificed Son! Because Jesus rose from the dead and saved our souls, God's great plan for us all was done!! written 7/5/2002 |
