| The Lord Heard My Call |
| I waited patiently for the Lord to help me He turned to me and heard my cry. Then, the Lord lifted me out of the pit of despair - He didn't let me perish or die. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as each new day came along. The Lord has given me another start - He pulled me out of the mud and let me sing a new song. Many will see what the Lord has done for me they will not believe it - they will be astounded! Some will put their trust in the Lord, their joy will be great as they are by the Lord's love surrounded. Oh! The joys of those who trust in the Lord and put no confidence in those who are self important and proud.
