| The Cross Before The Crown |
| Dear friends, with all sincerity I write we all must go to the cross before we get our crown. We will go through many trials and sorrows which will cause us to temporarily wear a frown. Our Lord and Savior was sad at times, He loved us so much even though we hurt Him. He bore our transgressions and died on the cross so we would be forgiven our sin. If we want to share Jesus' Crown, we also must bear our cross so to speak. Once saved by God's Grace, we can endure all issues even though our bodies are weak. Friends, I pray that you have come to the cross and know Jesus as your Savior and King. Let's share the Good News and plant seeds of faith. Each time another soul is saved, the angels sing. I shall end this poem with full assurance that we must go to the cross with Jesus before we share His crown. For once we were lost and confused, but by God's unfailing love we are found. written 3/13/2007 |
