| Thanksgiving Pies |
| When you say anything about Thanksgiving it's all about the Family getting together. All kinds of pies and treats to nibble on and praying for nice weather. Big families or small families the whole idea is getting together to thank the Lord for all we receive each day. The pumpkin pie looks so good, but it wasn't for me - I threw mine away. But sure enough I got caught! Then I had to eat 2 pieces while being observed by the whole crew, It was a long afternoon! So I say to all the youngsters, watch out - this could happen to you. I might as well tell you about the mince-meat pie I didn't like it at all. So my advice to you is get a piece of pumpkin pie and mincemeat pie - from your plate they could easily fall. This poem has a lot of writing about foods that some of us do not like to eat. It' all writen in good cheer Let's thank the Lord for those we greet. |
