Romans 1:1-5
Paul writes to the Romans; "I am Paul, Jesus
Christ's slave, and these words you can use.
I was chosen by God to be an apostle and was
sent out to preach the Good News.

This Good News was promised long ago by God through
His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, written down.
It is the Good News about His Son, Jesus, who came
as a man, so that this lost world would be found.

Jesus Christ, our Lord, was shown to be the Son of God
\when God raised Him from the dead on the third day.
For by the means of the power of the Holy Spirit
He rose, (is what I say).

Through Christ, God has given us the privilege to tell
all Gentiles about what God has done for them.
So that all who believe,
will be saved from their sin.

You Romans, that have been called, belong to
Jesus Christ and God loves everyone of you.
May grace and peace be with you all."
For what I have written is true.
