| It's better to be poor and honest than to be rich and a cheat. It's good to have lots of money, but not if the Lord's Words you don't keep. They say money is the root of all evil; that well might be so. If you use your money wisely, you can help many other people as you go. If I were rich, I would try not to be crooked and watch every dime. If that were the case, I'd rather be poor all of the time. Be happy with what the Lord has given you, don't gauge a person by the money he is worth. In that light, we should all pray for the Lord's blessing to make our lives better here on Earth. inspired by Proverb 28:6 written 7/02/2000 |
