| Rejoice During Trials |
| Those of us who are Christians, must rejoice when we run into trials. It may not be very easy to do, but we must show off our smiles. We should understand that; when problems come, they are good for us - they help us learn to endure. All Christians have to go through heartaches and that is for sure. So, rejoice when sorrows, trials and problems come - it develops our character. It makes us stronger in the faith; God does nothing to us that we can't bear. It takes practice and prayer to smile when we are feeling down and out. But we can do it by God's power, for then we learn what our lives are all about! They are all about the confident expectation of Christ's promised salvation. Now that makes me smile, no matter the occasion! Amen. inspired by Romans 5:3-5 written 3/16/2002 |
