Hear me again Lord, have mercy on me. Hear my prayers so that I am blessed.
I put my trust in only you O God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that you made your covenant with a long time ago.
To this very day, you are their God and they are alive - your word always stays true, that I know.
Forgive me Lord, O God of every generation, because I am human and I constantly sin.
I am not a fool though, I worship you and that's where my life will begin and end.
Yes, O God, my puny years here on this earth is but a flash, then I will fade away.
But, victory over death will be my salvation through Jesus on that day!
Jesus says, I will be like an angel when I die and my spirit will be with Him.
Thank you God for saving a sinner as I from eternal death - you have brought me in.
