Praise and Deliverance
I will praise You, Lord, for You have
rescued me out of the darkness of sin.
You took charge and now my spirit is
free - praise the Lord, praise Him!

O Lord, You heard me cry out to You
for help and You restored my health.
You saved me from the want of more
power and wealth.

Yes, Lord You brought me up from the grave
and kept me from falling into the pit of death.
You strengthened me and fortified me and
Your Spirit has given me new breath.

I Praise Your Holy Name, for even Your anger
lasts a moment but Your favor lasts for a lifetime.
My crying might go on all night, but great
joy will come with the morning sunshine.

I cried out to You, O Lord, oh, how I pled
for mercy saying; "If I die, what will He gain?
For I cannot praise You from the dust of the grave,
only in life can I honor and praise Your Holy Name!"
