| Dear Father, my human Father, I would like to tell you that I'm thankful for Father's Day! I have many good thoughts about you -- I thank God for you when I pray. Yes, I pray for you! You got up every morning and got ready for work not returning until 5:00 or 6:00 o'clock. Ten hard hours you put in for many years. Thank you, God, for the father I've got. Yes, I love my Father - for it is his day to receive appreciation and a little more love. I thank him for his labor because it was me he thought of. Thank you Father, I love you. No one is as good as you are! I pray that there are millions of children thinking about their fathers, near and far. written 5/23/2005 |
