| More Than A Man |
| I've listened to preachers talk about a man and Oh, how passionate were their words! They describe this man as the most cherished person who ever lived - that's the message I have heard I've taken the time and read in the Holy Bible about this man. He came to earth for us all. The more I read - the more I was able to understand. This man was more than a wise king or a gifted prophet in His time. He never hurt anyone or did anything for His own gain - none of that was in His heart or mind. His love for His Father was even much stronger than any possible self importance or pride. This man healed the sick, brought people back to life and Oh yes, by the way - for you and me He also died. This man was all love and He is our redemption from this world of misery and sin. I'm sure you know who I'm writing about - His name is Jesus and He is our beginning and our future - not our end. written 3/29/2000 |
