| Lord, I Try |
| O Lord, I try to do everything that You want me to. But, I fall way short when it comes to following You. I try to help others and keep a smile on my face. But the world sometimes closes in on me and tries to steal Your Grace. I know I can't be perfect though I strive to never tell a lie. When it comes to serving You and keeping Your commandments all I can do is try. Come Lord and give me all that I need to be more of a Christian than I am. Some choices that I make get me into trouble so I call on God to rescue this man. Watch over me Lord, I know You always will and I praise and thank You for that.
