| I Tried To Rhyme |
| I tried and tried to make this poem rhyme but I could not. I thought perhaps I could tell You, God, thanks - You've given me everything I've got. Yes, it is true, God has done many things for every one of us. But I wish I could rhyme about God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus in whom we trust. I have also read many times in the Holy Bible looking for what I needed. Every verse I read, the desire to spread the Good News in me seeded. Friends, then one day I accepted Jesus to be my Savior. I invited Him to come into my heart, I received rebirth. I think I have a rhyme here - I'm saved now and my spirit shall leave this Earth. written 10/27/2008 |
