| I Praise You Lord, For What I've Got |
| Dear Lord, it is a beautiful day - whether the sun shines or not. It is a blessed day every day - I thank You for what I've got. Everything I have comes from You - my wordly possessions, my family and most of all my faith and belief. When it comes to salvation - it was by Your Grace. I couldn't believe in you on my own - so, in my sins you sent relief. You opened up the doors of Heaven and sent Jesus to the world to save all of us from our sins. We all fall short of being Holy - we are born in to this sinful world and our life here begins. We are drawn to sin because it is our nature to do so, it's our human desire. None of us can change and come to You unless it's something given by You that we can acquire. So, Dear Lord, everyday is a blessed day no matter what's going on in my life - joyful or not. You have given me everything I need for this life and the next. I praise You for only by Your Grace do I have what I've got. written 5/24/2000 |
