| I Give Thanks |
| I give You thanks, O Lord, with all my heart, I will sing praises to your holy name. I bow before You and worship You, I pray my love for you will increase always - not stay the same. Yes, I will give thanks to You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. If anyone asks me; "Are You my God?" I wll say; "Absolutely yes!" When I pray, You answer me; You encourage me by giving me the strength I need. You have never let me down, Your holy words in the Bible fortify me as I read. Lord, even though You are great and mighty, You care for the humble and those who are weak. But You keep Your distance from the proud, for only You know what they seek. I thank You, Lord, because You work out Your plans in me each day. Your faithful love, O Lord, endures. You made me and on my knees to You do I pray. inspired by Psalm 138 written 10/11/2000 |
