| Dear Lord, I try to do my best, but I fall short a lot of the time. Listen to my heart beat in my chest, it beats from Your love - not mine. I am just another fickle human being, I have too many things to do in a day. And I know that You are all seeing, then I try and change my silly way. Dear Lord, please don't give up on me, I will do much better - I think that I can. I won't forget all of the glory in Thee! I am but a pilgrim, that is all that I am. I would rather escape this proving ground we all have to go through while we're here. For the only goodness ever found is in You and that is something for us that is so dear Dear Lord, remember I try to do what's right, but I am not always successful when I do. Help me Lord - give to me all of Thy Might then my pilgrimage will end in only You! written 12/17/2002. |
