| How Much Do You Love Me? |
| A man asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" Jesus put His feet together and stretched out His arms as far as He could! The man started to cry when Jesus showed He would die for Him by being crucified even though He was innocent and all good! Think about that for a moment - let it settle in your mind. Is that something that you or anyone else could do? I think not, only Jesus was able to suffer the torment of all of our sins -and He did. The Holy Scriptures are true! I am humble and very emotional as I write that Jesus died because He loves us. Praise Him for what He did, love everyone and tell them all about Jesus! God let only one man die for the sins of the world - He offered up His Son's sinless life over 2000 years ago. We don't deserve it - we never will be able to deserve it, but we can let our Lord's love through us show! Then the man, who had asked Jesus the question, got down on his knees and then fell prostrate to the ground. Jesus told the man, Get up I know you love me, My Life is freely given for you - that's what by faith you have found! written 8/20/2002 |
