| As we know Jesus better and better, His divine power gives us everything we need for living a life that is godly. He has called us to receive His own glory and goodness - all praise to Thee! Through His power, He has given us all of His rich and wonderful promises - you will escape the decadence around you. You will share in His divine nature and your evil desires will go away - that's what they will do. So, make every effort to apply these promises to your life - your faith will produce a life of moral excellence and more. For a life of moral excellence leads to knowing God better and you will be able to enter Heaven's door. Knowing God better also leads to self control, patient endurance and godliness through God's Son.
