Give Your Burdens to God
Listen to my prayer, O God;
don't hide yourself while I cry to you - hear me, Lord, where I go.
For there are times I groan and weep
beneath my burden of woe.

Sin is all around me and it surrounds me
with terror as their hatred rises to get me.
Their fury is trying to engulf me,
my heart is in anguish - set me free.

O Lord, make my enemies quarrel among themselves,
destroy them with their own strifes.
Let them die in their own wickedness
and have a short life.

Let death seize them and
cut them down in their prime.
But Lord, save me as you have always done
time after time.

Give your burdens to the Lord -
He will carry them - He will not let the godly slip or fall.
For God loves us always even though we sin,
Let us trust in Him to save us - may we harken to hear his call.
