| I remember the evening I accepted Jesus to come into my heart and forgive my sinning. I felt peace - the Holy Spirit came over me and my life with God was my new beginning. I was on fire, my head was spinning around and around. Oh! My Lord! I prayed - what a blessing I had found! I had Christ by my side now, forever and for all time. My life had meaning and love came from my heart - not just my mind. No doubt about it, I turned into a new person and I was a fanatic. I painted 'Jesus Saves' and 'Jesus is # 1' on my truck! I was in the spirit an addict! That was 33 years ago and my walk with my Lord (because of me) has had it's ups and downs. I did some backsliding along the way, but I'm eagerly awaiting the holy trumpet when it sounds! |
