| Eagle Wings - Sparrow Wings |
| I don't have eagle's wings to fly with, mine are that of a single sparrow. It's okay as long as I can fly the route, to Heaven's gate, which is straight and narrow. I don't need to be first, nor last - I only need and desire to get there. My trust is in Jesus and God's unfailing love and care. With them in my heart and soul, I know for sure that I am Heaven bound. It's by God's grace that one day in Heaven my spirit will be found. So, use eagle's wings if you have them to fly with to Heaven - that is okay with me. I'll be coming along also because to each, in his own time, salvation in free. I don't want to be too early to Heaven, nor do I want to be too late. I will be saved as I fly with my sparrow wings through Heaven's gate. written 10/20/2000 |
