| Don't Lie - Like Ananias and Sapphira Did |
| There was a man named Ananias and his wife's name was Sapphira. They sold some property, They took only part of the proceeds to the Apostles, but told them it was all of the money. Then Peter said, "Ananias why has Satan filled your heart? You have lied not only to us, but to the Holy Spirit." Ananias fell to the floor and he died. Everyone who heard about it was terrified! Then about three hours later Sapphira, not knowing about what happened, was asked by Peter, "Was this the price you and your husband received for your property?" "Yes" she replied, "That was the full price paid to my husband and me." Peter said, "How could you do this, conspiring to test the Spirit of the Lord! There are two young men outside who buried your husband and they will bury you too!" Instantly she fell to the ground and died!
