| Do Not Expect Much |
| Lots of part-time Christians act like "Do not expect much from me". I love Jesus but I need to keep my schedule booklet free. I want to socialize and join Bible study groups to learn more. But, please excuse me when I need to slip out of the door. Yes, it is true - I send my offerings to church each week. And of course, I can not say how much it is because of that I cannot speak. Oh, and another thing - I will need you to watch my three children every week at Bible class. Be sure to put them on the church bus and get them home, for I must dash. But don't forget, call on me when you need help at the church, I'm always somewhere around. And please, please understand that I am still going to be with you all one day - headed Glory bound. written 6/20/2004 |
