| Christ's Example of Suffering |
| Christ suffered when He died for our sins once and for all time - He never sinned but He died for all of us who sin. He did this suffering so He could bring us safely home to God where our eternity will begin. Christ suffered physical death for us all but Christ was raised to life in the spirit and that baptism is a symbol of our deliverance from the old life of sin and destruction. This is a picture of baptism which now saves you by the power of Christ's resurrection - it was all done by God's construction. For Christ went and preached to the spirits in prision - those who disobeyed God long ago. That's what Christ did to let those spirits about the Good News know. Now Christ has gone to Heaven - He is seated in the place of honor next to God our Maker.
