A Pleasant Thought
The most pleasant thought I can think of
is sitting underneath a big tree;
There will be shade, comfort
and Jesus in me.

What? What? Did I just write Jesus?
Must have been a slip of my pen and hand.
Wow! I sure don't know where that
came from.  I don't understand.

Anyway, I thought I would get the old family Bible down
and take a quick look right away.
Oh my!  I just read that God's Son, His name is Jesus,
died for me - the Bible had to say.

Did you know that?  If not, I think it would be pleasant
if you called Jesus' name.
Ask Him to come into your heart so you'll be saved,
millions of others have done the same.

O.K. how great my pleasant thought was,
but wait a minute - God put that thought in my mind.
All praise to Him, my friends.
God is not at all hard to find!
